Uploading your memories to PhotoLog
Our media files are precious and we need a place to store them safely and securely, outside of the reach of bots and AIs whilst also maintaining the same quality we had when we took them. That's where PhotoLog comes in. In this guide we will go through how to create an album and upload your precious memories to it.
Creating your album
Once logged in, you will be presented with your library page.
To create an album, follow these simple steps:
- Click the green "Create new album" button,
- Once clicked, a new pop-up will appear, asking you for your album name,
- After you enter the album name, click on the "Add album" button.
Once the album is created, you will be redirected on the album page where you can upload your files.
Uploading your files
To upload your files, click on the green "Upload" button.
Once you have selected the files you wanted to upload, you will need to wait for them to get uploaded. Depending on the number and size of the files, this can take up to a few hours. During this time, please do not close the page as it will interrupt the upload.
If any errors occur, they will be shown in the page after the upload has finished.
Pro tip: If you're using PhotoLog on a mobile phone, you can directly use your camera to take a picture and automatically upload it to PhotoLog.

If at any time you want to download all the files in an album, you can click the green "Download" button and an archive will be prepared for you with all your files within that album. As this can be a lengthy process, you will receive an email with a download link once the archive is prepared.
